Congratulations to everyone on a job well done in our first two races! We had a great race in Wetaskiwin on Saturday and great weather in Beaumont yesterday. Thanks to all of the parents who have been out to help and cheer on the team!

The Leduc and District Athletics Association Meet has now been scheduled. It will be taking place in Beaumont on Monday, October 3 during the day. Students will be bussed to and from this meet.

Our next Cross Country race is on Saturday, October 1 at Leduc Estates School as we participate in the Bole Classic Cross Country Meet. You will need to accompany your child to the meet. A schedule will be sent home. Please make sure that payment for this race and the Autumn Classic is made by Monday, September 26, if you wish to have your child attend.

Once again please make sure your child is dressed for the weather and has good running shoes, a snack and a water bottle.

Welcome to the Cross Country Blog!

Thanks to all the students who have been coming out Monday - Thursday to run Cross Country. We have an excellent turn out everyday so our season is off to a great start.

Our first meet of the year is coming up this Saturday, September 17, with the Peace Hills Meet in Wetaskiwin. Student should be at Peace Hills Park at 8:35 am in order to get settled before the course walk-through at 9:00 am.

Please make sure your child has a water bottle, good running shoes, snacks, layers of clothing which can be added or taken off as the weather changes and a blanket or towel to sit on.
